I think Sanga (aka AFL China development officer Andrew Sawitsch) mentioned that they were looking at tests against India when I spoke to him briefly at the IC08. However, I can't see any tests happening before next year.

The biggest issue for the Asian squads (as with everyone else) is the players having the cash to travel. Japan are probably better situated than China, India or Indonesia in that regard, but their focus has been on touring to Australia (almost) annually.
