Asia The Japan Samurai have continued on their winning way defeating Box Hill North at Elgar Park on Tuesday night, 17th August.

Shinichi Tanaka was the dominant forward kicking 3 in the Samurai's total of 13-8-86 to Box Hill North's 6-5-41. Tanaka's goal from 40m out on the run right on the boundary saw the lively crowd bring the roof off Elgar Park's canteen & change room block.

The Samurai remain undefeated on this tour which is a sign of their vast improvement since the 2002 International Cup.

The Samurai take on Vietnam Melbourne tonight 18th August and Ocean Grove tomorrow night 19th August before the all important test match against New Zealand South Island as a curtain raiser to Carlton v Melbourne at Optus Oval on Saturday 21st August.
