History:   Australian football has been played in Cambodia by members of the expatriate Australian community in Phnom Penh since around 2000, with several clubs coming and going, including the Cambodia Crocodiles and the Cambodian Kangas, the latter hosting a four-team Indochina Cup in Phnom Penh in November 2008. In 2010, the Cambodian Cobras formed, hosting the Vietnam Swans in Phnom Penh on July 31st and scheduled to take part in the Indochina Cup in November 2010.

Outlook (2010):   Given the intermittent existence of previous clubs in Cambodia, the sport will be doing well just to see some stability with the Cobras, before any hopes of spreading the game widely to locals.

Other points of interest:   According to Wikipedia, a number of Cambodian Australians play for the Southern Dragons in the Southern Football League in Melbourne.
