History:   The Thailand Tigers were established in 1996 and are a primarily expat-Aussie club based in Bangkok. They play a domestic social league and play in tournaments such as the Asian Championships, which they hosted in 2007.

Outlook (2010):   In 2007 the Thailand Tigers conducted a kids clinic at the Thailand Institute of Physical Education (IPE Bangkok campus), but we're not aware of this being a regular or growing occurrence, so at this stage mass participation amongst locals is unlikely in the near future.
