Top Aussie 'Footy' players come to Centurion From the Pretoria News. Not many articles ever appear in South African press about footy, let's hope that is going to change soon.

Yeah that is good to see some local press in Pretoria.

On the Crows, Power story (not Pies - a Freudian slip since the Power were the Magpies before joining the AFL?) I agree, it doesn't sound too serious. I've tried to convince Adelaide CEO Steven Trigg of the virtues of exploring internationally, and I felt he gave me a fair hearing, but at the end of the day I think there's a mindset that since there are only 2 AFL clubs in South Australia 99.9% of their attention should be there. Hard to argue from a state development point of view, but I fear they are risking missing out on expanding their player AND fan base down the track, a worry when both clubs have worried recently about how to expand their income in a marketplace (Adelaide) that is only growing slowly.
