Actually, I've often thought the problem with Europe was the fragmented way in which many might look at it. Where as the USofA has a population of mid 300 million, and can boast 50 or 60 clubs and 4 figure player numbers - - most Euro countries pale in comparison,

Seeing Europe now hopefully as a far more unified entity must be beneficial. Might be nice to see a continental Europe team take on a North American team somewhere down the line in a trans-Atlantic battle.
