I think that was partly to blame. The Wildcats and Hawks rescheduled their game for the Thursday night so that they could free up some of their EUs. However, they still couldn't get enough players to travel all the way up to Worksop to play. I think Karls comment about that being the best that London could offer was well wide of the mark.

In my opinion, location played a big part in the number of teams present - it's not exactly an easy place to get to. Bearing this in mind, I hope that the organisers review the Brit Cup and really try to bring it alive again next year rather than letting it die out. It's a great competition and deserves to be more than an after thought with details only released to clubs the week of the tournament!!
