I've heard that a few Germans might be watching on back in Europe wishing they were here, given they beat France pretty easily in a warm up game. Surely we'll see an appearance by the Black Eagles in 2014?

Some teams get demoralised after a few IC thrashings and the game doesn't kick on when they return home. With the Div 2 setup if France win or go close, and given it sounds like they're having a wonderful time (definitely brought a lot of character to the tournament) then hopefully this will all serve to invigorate the game even more in France.

Some excellent growth there in a short space of time. Would love to see 10 solid clubs in France in 3 years. That would really give a strong European base on the northwest part of the mainland.

(Queue Troy to again suggest IC14 be held in Europe?).
