PNG have kicked poorly all tournament, which has had me thinking it could be their main vulnerability in the GF. But then Ireland were poor in their last game. Now Ireland are kicking straight could it be the difference?

I assume these are the same as the other matches, 17.5 minute quarters, no time on (except for Game Day 1 which was 2 x 15 mins no time on).

Yeah, Huddo and Dermie to a degree but Mark Robinson pulled it back to 'AFL' as quick as possible - - obviously the International side of things isn't his strong point!! It's amazing the ignorance at some levels.

Siren's gone in the background, on SEN, we can here "We are the champions", and no mention of the winner yet. They've officially dropped the ball!!

It was quite obvious the desire of some to put it back on AFL. Very frustrating. The AFL Game Development people have been trying to get wider media interest but the media itself has tunnel vision.

Anyway, congratulations to Ireland, first team to win 2 men's International Cups, and they've done the double with the women winning too.

Commiserations to PNG, a traumatic 2 weeks with the Peter Meli tragedy, and that's now 4 IC grand finals, 4 times PNG have made it to the final, and only 1 win. And despite looking very good in 2008 they only just scraped home then as well. Could almost be 0 from 4.
