So there you go, just in case anyone had any doubts, it's not just Papuans and Irish and Polynesians and North Americans that can play footy at a good level, the Poms have got what it takes as well. Hopefully this will really spark interest in developing grass roots footy in the UK and Europe. Footy in GB has been a sleeping giant in terms of potential, wouldn't it be great if things took off.

Indeed great news for 2008 and 2009 Euro cup winning Dragonslayers captain Ballard and Welshman Trigger!

Justification for all the many volunteers around the country who have put so much time in developing locals into the sport. Do us proud boys!
