ANZAC Day 2015 AFL match in Turkey still a chance

Brett, two things of interest. A couple of months ago I contacted a gentleman in Melbourne who was keeping the Karsiyaka Dockers flag flying on a Facebook page. I expressed an interest in re-booting the club to him and said i'd let him know. Subsequent contact with AFL Middle East AND AFL Europe unearthed that neither believed Turkey was their area. Can we fire that up somehow and have a body interested in looking after Turkey, as that will surely need to have happened to create the event and also develop afterwards. Also chatted briefly today to AFL Multicultural who are keen to see the event happen, knowing that would certainly boost interest in teams representing Turkey in Harmony Cup/GLoBALL competitions, so a groundswell of support is there. Also, AFL Middle East expressed a desire to arrange to play a Turkey team if one existed, even on a one off basis. That kind of thing would certainly help lay a platform for AFL matches to follow.
