It is a great pity that the league was not able to proceed with its oval development, as it would have represented a giant step in the growth,development and promotion of footy in the region and Croatia ie. International tests, AFL/AIS v Legion Easter series, European Championships and Euro Cup matches could have been staged in Eastern Europe at last.

Let's hope the Croatian guys haven't lost their determination and drive and are searching hard for another possible new site for their Oval, since they had gone a long way towards raising the funds for developing an " Eastern Europe AFL HQ" :-)

Sad to see that they couldn't see their way clear to come to IC14, I was looking forward to seeing how the Knights performed against some of the non-European nations.

Ah! well, maybe next time, we'll see the Knights brand of footy down under?

Very disappointing re the Oval and re IC14. They've always performed so well in Europe so as you say it would've been great to see them up against some other countries.
