Our poll before last year's Youth Oceania Cup had PNG as warm favourites, but then they were unable to attend at the last moment. Looks like our readers were right.

I thought NZ would do a bit better, although raw they have had a lot of the same guys involved for the past year, so could have improved a fair bit. It goes to show, you can't really beat having a large group of players actually playing regular footy like the PNG lads. Looks good for them going forward. I think if they had a slightly larger body size on average they would absolutely dominate the International Cup - they may anyway.
