Japan AFL 2005 scholarship winner announced

It is with great pleasure that Japan AFL, the Box Hill North Football Club and Robert Walters Japan announce this year\'s Robert Walters scholarship winner.
Hiroyuki Shiba, a talented 24 year old forward pocket player from the Go-Kong Football Club in the Japan AFL league will be taken under the wing of the Box Hill North Football Club in the VAFA.
This is the second scholarship player to be sent from Japan to Box Hill North.
Kevin Gibson, Managing Director, Robert Walters Japan says \'Robert Walters is proud to be behind such an innovative scholarship program in the development of Australian Rules Football Internationally. I’d like to wish Hiroyuki the best of luck in personal development and the Japanese national teams campaign to succeed expectations in the AFL International Cup in August this year’.
Japan AFL has currently 4 leagues in Japan including a women’s league. There are over 500 registered players in Japan and that number is growing.
