On the weekend of September 16 and 17, for the first time ever, a junior footy team from England will make its way to Farum, Denmark. Saturday will see the English kids join the various junior teams from Denmark and Scania in a lightning-premiership, followed on Sunday morning by probably the first ever full-scale junior international ever between a representative Danish junior side will clash with their English counterparts.

The children involved will be in the 13-14 year age-group. The lightning tournament is still in planning, however organisers are hoping for a side from Slagslunde, and around two each from Farum, Malmoe and the British squad.

The match on the Sunday will hopefully be a full 18-a-side match between Denmark and England. The English side is being organized by Brian Clarke of Aussie Rules UK, and they also hope to take in a few of the sights of Copenhagen during their weekend there.
