WorldFootyNews.com and USFootyNews.com are teaming up to present the 2008 USFooty Top 10 Poll. To kick things off we are having a Countdown for the Preseason Top 10. Who are the best teams in USFooty? This article looks at the club our judges ranked 9th.
At Number 9 is the Seattle Grizzlies. In 2007, Seattle had a 7-2 season finishing 9th in the World Footy News Top 10 Poll. They had an impressive performance at Nationals, so much so that former Essendon Coach, Kevin Sheedy thought they would take the Division II Title. Unfortunately, the Grizzlies were not quite good enough, going down in the Grand Final to the Minnesota Freeze. The Grizzlies' 2008 season will see them play their usual games against the Canadian teams – Vancouver and Burnaby, while also traveling to Chicago to take on United and the Milwaukee Bombers.
