USFooty Top 10 Poll #3

North America

USFootyNews.com and WorldFootyNews.com have joined forces to put together the 3rd unofficial USFooty Top 10 Poll of 2008. Despite a few games across the country, according to our voters there hasn't been a lot of movement at the top of the ladder. Curiously one team has sneaked in without taking the field yet. Look for more movement when the season gets into full swing.

The Poll sees the San Diego (1-0) remain at the top position after a convincing win first up against the Las Vegas Gamblers in Vegas. The Baltimore Washington Eagles remain at 2 with a dream start to the season including winning the Faststream Florida Invitational and a solid win against the North Carolina Tigers at home. For the Eagles, the big test comes (last) Saturday when they head up to Boston to take on the No. 10 Demons.

The Denver Bulldogs remain at number three despite a disappointing trip to Florida. Remaining at four, the New York Magpies have also had a good start to the season. They were extremely unlucky to loose to the Eagles in Florida and they had a solid win against the Milwaukee Bombers at home. The Orange County Bombers moved up from 7 after an impressive win against the more fancied Golden Gate Roos last weekend. The Roos moved down to 6 after that loss. The Dallas Magpies have moved into 7 from 10 and have been the quiet achievers in USFooty in 2008. The Maggies managed to hold off a determined Bombers team when they hosted OC a few weeks ago. Seattle remains at 8 after taking 1 and losing 1 in their series against the Portland Power.

The Minnesota Freeze moved down to 9 from 6 after a disappointing first MAAFL Championship game against an improving St Louis Blues. The Boston Demons moved into Top 10 at tenth as the Atlanta Kookaburras fell out after a thrashing at the hands of the Florida Redbacks in Florida.
