Well how good is it? Good enough for a quick kick and handball around the region with your mates. Or more simply put "Its mega awesome". The 21 member clubs of AFL Asia show us how good.

We had an article about an attempt to get footy going in Pakistan a few of days ago (Pakistan Shaheens to fly at IC14), but no mention was made of the Islamabad Dashers( one of the participating clubs in the video).

Any body know anything about them?? How many players, local and or ex-pat?

How long has the club been operating? Matches played where/when and at how many a side?

Has Kashif Bouns and the AFL had any contact with them???

The two groups have been put in touch apparently. I don't think we've heard any progress reports from the Dashers, beyond that they exist.

To John, yep would be great for a Euro video. We've had the idea of doing it to promote the International Cup for many years now but never quite had the time to coordinate it all. If anyone out there wants to do it for IC14 we'd be happy to coordinate / arrange contact with countries and promote it.

To Cam, we did mention Islamabad in the other article, and we have made sure the organiser here in Australia has the details of the Islamabad club (I've just double checked that tonight), and Sudip from AFL India has also (I believe) tried to make contact with the older developments in the Swat area but possibly with no success.
