NZ Falcons to host Maffra in pre-cup hitout

The story mentions this match being NZ's first international on home soil. It's been brought to my attention by one reader in the know that NZ has played several junior matches at home, including against Queensland Under 19 in 2003 and Australian Capital Territory Under 16 sides in 2004. Although the upcoming match maintains its significance as the first match by the senior national side on home turf. Of course what will be even more important will be when one day they'll hopefully host another country's national side.
