Just confirmed Kevin Sheedy sacked as Coach of Essendon after 27 years - media conference at midday Melbourne time.

So technically speaking I think Sheeds will not be reappointed as coach - some people draw a very distinct line between being sacked compared with not getting a new contract. In reality not much difference but one sounds a lot better than the other!
