good set up brett...any bit of international footy footage is awersome to see...i watched the clips of the revo v canada match on myk tv..they r certainly coming on up north...almost 90% sure il be there for the 08 int cup but if im not wats the chances of seeing a full length 08 int on this channel

Thanks flyinghigh. Yep, Myk Aussie and YouTube are the best 2 places at the moment to get an international footy fix. We haven't discussed how we'll cover the Cup in '08, but hopefully we'll be able to get some daily footage up. Wouldn't be surprised if a few competing nations organised similar. We'd be happy to hear from them if they'd like to try to coordinate.

Depending on how much the AFL put into it and how much interest is generated, it is possible that some mainstream footy media may have some coverage, and of course we'd have to be sensitive to any commercial agreements at venues etc.

In terms of full length matches, I wouldn't anticipate it. It would require a fair lot of resources and although we love bringing you the news, we have to be practical with how much we try to achieve, how big the audience is, and how many hands we have on deck. And we'd need to look beyond YouTube to host it.

Having said that the last International Cup saw our traffic go through the roof, and since then we've steadily increased our average to above that peak, so who knows how much interest the next Cup will generate. But we'll certainly be hoping to bring you the feeling and spirit of the tournament one way or another.
