Next step would be looking at other major cities in India. I'm guessing Mumbai,
Delhi, Chennai etc would have to already be on the planning board.

There would have to be at least a few Australians and other footy fans in the
country who'd be interested in helping out. Mickey Rodriguez, who I believe
played for Spain at the 2005 IC and has since been playing in Catalonia,
emailed me a little while ago saying he is moving to Mumbai and might be
interested in getting something going there...

Let's see where Indian footy goes in the near future.
