Great to see Larry is getting things going - let's hope the problems besetting the country settle down enough for him to make this work.

It's a shame we didn't know Larry was there during IC08, it would've been a great opportunity to introduce him to some of the people heavily involved in getting things going in South Africa and coordinating other aspects of international footy - in the building in the background of the photo were many of the main AFL guys, and also around the place were David Matthews and Brian Dixon who no doubt would have been very interested in the plans. Still, never too late, and if he's speaking to Mtutu then obviously can follow through to all the others.

There's also some work starting in Ghana (more on that later) - it'd be fantastic to see 2 more African countries well underway in the next 12 months.
