Wolfpack hunt in big numbers - part 1

Would be nice to see some clubs/schools (other than Geelong College in South Africa or Scotch and the Tiwi Islands) make an effort to go overseas to play sides like this.

It smacks of irony that these kids are so keen on our game that they come all the way from Canada to Australia (and to Melbourne) and we can't even find anyone keen enough to spread the word overseas. I mean the flight time from Cairns to Port Moresby is just one and a half hours and Sydney to Auckland just three and a half, surely someone could organise for a school in Cairns or Sydney at the very least who can give these guys a game. Better still, send a side to Canada or the UK for a real experience against some ever improving opposition.

All it needs is one inspired school. The Australian schoolboys rugby do it all the time. How soon before we have an Australian schoolboys Aussie Rules side ?

I think there are some plans for South Africa at least. NZ have been very keen to get teams over to play against their juniors too, and it almost happened this year but fell through which was very disappointing for them. So hopefully such trips will start to become more common.
