Doesn't look like all systems go. The sponsors have pulled the plug and the AFL is currently considering standing up South Africa. Pretty poor form even considering the current economic climate because one of the reasons the AFL chose to promote footy in South Africa was the apparent low cost.

I'd say the fact that the link above, www.afl.com.au/southafrica no longer works is a very bad sign for this match indeed.

As confirmed in our more recent story, Cape Town match deferred for 12 months, the game has been "postponed" for 12 months. Strangely the link (at time of writing) works again though.
