surely it's just a matter of time before PNG and RSA recruits start putting the squeeze on the Irish lads. Carlton and Essendon have one each already from PNG, and GC17 may or may not persist with their 2 PNG lads.

Great Stuff John, looks like 2010 could be the biggest yet for Irish numbers at AFL clubs - might be as big as it gets. Walsh is set to have the most focus and has always looked the most suited of all Irish kids for a key position spot, whether he can adapt to the game as a key forward alongside Reiwoldt and Kosi will be interesting and may take at least two years unlike the rapid transition of running players like Begley, Clarke and Quinn.

The Western Australian clubs continue to have stayed away from internationals (at least in terms of listing them) and although Port Power, Geelong are on the lookout in Fiji and Ireland respectively, along with Hawthorn they are the only clubs not to have signed an Irish or other international. Would be great to see the Hawks get a Kiwi (or any other international) on the books, and the West Australians bring on some young South Africans signed up to get everyone on the international page.
