Thanks Brett, and yes you are correct - the rain leading to unavailable grounds is the single greatest challenge. We deal with competing sports (rugby, cricket, soccer) by playing on Sundays and wedging our short season into a quiet time (Aug - Dec, incl pre-season). However, with only one ground in Welli (but with plans to grow that in 2010) and no control over the rain we are at the mercy of the weather.

Having said that, the Wellington AFL did play round three on Sunday 1/11 and our season is back in progress.
