What does it say about the Australian media's view on international footy that besides the ABC, the only mention today (at least as far as google news tells me) was in a paper from Rugby League territory?

Surely this is of some interest to the sporting public in the traditional Aussie rules states?

The Age (Realfooty) had 2 runs of the story timed 2:50pm and 2:59 pm....ah, I see that got mentioned on the subsequent story about this....ah well,

also, SEN spoke to Sheeds tonight - as he was passing through Lane Cove on the way back from Riverview College.
