AFL Legend Peter Daicos appointed Patron of England's Gateshead Miners

For those that didn't see him play, typical Daicos goals would be kicking the ball along the ground from the forward pocket so that it would wobble through for a goal. It's actually quite common these days in the AFL, but from memory he was pretty much the only regular at it back when he was playing - no doubt a major inspiration behind its usage now.
