Apparently this was in the (Melbourne) Herald Sun and the Fox Sports website, so hopefully some good work will be done while the Saints are there:

Thomas said he planned a meeting with AFL chief executive Andrew Demetriou, operations manager Adrian Anderson and game development general manager David Matthews tomorrow to brief them on the club's plans to promote the game in South Africa.

"We'll work with the AFL to try and spread the word. We'll do skill training every day and two or three athletic sessions each day," Thomas said.
