ANZAC Day 2015 - Istanbul - Pies v Bombers?

I am going to step up and be the first to call for IC2015 (there was always some suggestion that the break would move from 3 years to 4 between cups) to be played in Europe with the curtain raiser to this game being the IC Cup final. With possibly the semifinal being played here as well to give the stadium a test run.

As I have said before, I think given the progress in Europe that if the AFL wants the highest possible number of countries attending the IC then that would be acheived by hosting it in Europe.

Yes I know that there are lots of issues having it outside Melbourne, and outside Australia (and a long way from the Oceania nations) but what a great opportunity it would be if this game were to go ahead.

Not bad. Although getting the IC out of Melbourne seems impossible, let alone Australia.

This also begs the question - what progress of footy in Turkey? We haven't had an update for a while. There was some initial progress in Ismir if I recall correctly.
