This Tommy Conlon it seems, is touted as a Sports Commentator, his ignorance of Aussie footy suggests that title is a misnomer. Maybe a "Gaelic Football" Commentator but certainly not a "Sports" Commentator. A competant Sports Commentator would know more about other sports like Aussie Rules and Rugby Union especially, as it is a sport in which Ireland ranks 5th in the world. I would imagine Ireland Rugby Union wouldn't hold him in much stead with his remarks in the interview with WFN either.
