Is it definitely not open to teams outside of Victoria? I assume it just says so in the rules. I wonder if they have even considered the possibility of international club sides? I can't see why they would object.

The Aussie Rules Club Classic has been organised as a Victorian based competition.

However, interstate and international teams that are interested in playing are welcome to contact our office and we will gladly discuss the option of having those teams compete. Having a variety of clubs competing from different areas can only improve the competition.
