Using the results published so far, and using 2009 and 2010 matches(same rules and criteria as World Ranking) we can Rank the Under 16's Oceania such:-
1 PNG 49.79. 7*
2 Tonga 43.04. 11
3 Samoa 40.47. 4
4 Fiji 39.46. 11
5 Nauru 38.60. 11
6 Solomon Islands 37.40. 7
7 New Zealand 35.17. 11
8 Pacific All Stars/President's XVIII 35.21. 6

*Last number is matches played.

From all accounts it sounds like a very successful 2010 tournament all round, the Solomon Islands effort most admirable for a first up by the look of it.

Hopefully by next year Samoa and Vanuatu (who this year contributed players to the Pres 18) will be fielding stand-alone sides. Could we see 8 Pacific senior teams at the IC next year?

Aaron.
Tonga would be the best bet to be at IC11out of the Pacific nations who have turned out for this comp. Fiji then Solomon Is. and Vanuatu would be my picks.
To have Indonesia turn up would be real cool, a culturally different and diverse country like Indonesia, from outside the Commonwealth, could be an indication that Footy is really spreading its wings.

Tonga were technically at IC08 too...

Fiji will definitely be there, there's been too much development money spent there for them not to be.

I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if the Solomons or Vanuatu will be there, but PNG, NZ, Nauru, Samoa, Tonga and Fiji still gives a good field of six nations at IC11 who might be pretty strong.
