I have read this before and I find it very interesting. Whilst I enjoy International Football matches against Ireland, the time has come for the AFL to put its funds behind AFL in all countries not this irish experiment. If we concentrate our energies we have a better chance of succeeding!

I'm not especially partial to International Rules, but I've said it before and I'll keep saying it, my understanding is that the series does not cost the AFL anything, so there are no real resources in the series to divert to footy. It's covered by sponsors.
