Whilst I was watching the women's nationals it occured to me that they could do the same thing as the U16's competition for women's football and add a South Pacific and World team to Division 2 some day. Really keen to see how the South Pacific and World kids do (go show them that we really can play footy outside of Australia!!) and even more keen to see the level of women's footy at the International Cup!

Absolutely. Not so many women in Oceania so far, so I'd start with a World team featuring all nations except Australia. The options I've been thinking we should raise with the AFL would be a World team or the winners of the International Cup. In the first instance World would be better to add depth, especially since you'd be asking a squad to return to Australia 10 months later, so plenty of reserves needed. I really think it would be quite do-able and quite competitive in Div 2.
