I'd have to go along with Aaron's comments, if we consider who Germany have played and their record. Germany have beaten Sweden in 2007, but lost to them at Euros10. They have also beaten Finland in 09 & 10, Finland's only International victory was against India at IC08.

So France could well be up for a win against India or first timers like Timor Leste or Switzerland or provisionally ranked China. A win against any of the fully ranked teams would out of the question I believe.

France has several guys playing in Aussie at the moment, I believe, and could expect some improvement from their debut match with their inclusion.

I just hope the organisers have the nous to have two divisions, with the IC debutants and the provisionally ranked teams playing in one division, and all the teams that hold full ranking in the other division, so we don't see any 200 to nil thrashings at this IC.
