The first step is for South Pacific to score a win - hopefully soon.

Then over the next few years they can hopefully be consistent threats in Div 2.

If that happens then maybe PNG could split out, or maybe South Pacific could go up to Div 1.

South Africa's lack of players is a concern - is it lack of players deserving a spot, or lack of funds to make the trip, or something else? I think a lot of expected South Africa to be getting close to PNG levels in this age group by now. Were we unrealistic, do we under-estimate PNG?
