Good preview Rod, NZ look good and hopefully the young players will bring the pace they need to beat PNG. The Irish are always hard to pick because their local comp is not strong, but converted Gaelic players can really dominate at this level. If the NZ can use their tall players well they will be hard to beat, but they must hold their marks. Its hard to understand that 2 Hawthorn International recruits have not been good enough to be chosen???

Big assumption to make Tinka - "not good enough", talent is only one of the selection criteria.

No Tinks- spoke with Rob who said that both Kurt and Shem were used to playing against boys rather than open age stuff. You probably have to bear in mind that the boys have also played for the Sth Pacific team at the Aus Champs so school/parental concerns would also be taken into account I guess?

Mr Cogs- why so abrasive ;-)
