British maybe but England might be pushing it. The Welsh are well ahead of us with both Cardiff teams recruiting female players for next season! So yeah I reckon there'll be at least one UK representative team there. Would be good if next year we got the Irish, both the Swiss and the Italians, and a UK team, to make it 4, then we can have a proper comp. Look out Banshees!

Will be attending an AFL GB conference in Birmingham next month. Pretty keen to meet up with everyone and discuss women's footy there, but also want to know why there's no mens team in Liverpool yet? So much to do!

The Welsh league certainly seems to be one of the most active in growing the game. Maybe a British women's side in 2012 and separate England and Welsh sides in 2013? Good luck to all involved.

Good to hear that things are gaining momentum in Cardiff. The Banshees are really keen to get a game against a UK team next year seeing as there will be no international cup tournament and only our own league matches and euro cup a whole year away.So let me put it out there that we would love to come to Cardiff for match against Wales and for them to come over and play us in Dublin in May/ April next year if they can field a team. Something on the cards at least! I'm very excited at this prospect and I can only hope that they do get a team together. Roll on next season!
