Must be a movie script out there somewhere of an expat Aussie in some far off lonely corner of the world who gets together a rag tag bunch of locals and forms an Aussie rules team....

Haha... Probably. Everyone loves a good underdog sports movie. It'd be less improbable than Cool Runnings.

There's a great Mitchell and Webb sketch parodying Underdog Sports Movies (as well as what cricket looks like to people who don't understand the rules) here.
