How did the norwegian footy conversation lead to AIS academy jumpers :)

Anyway, few weeks ago I talked to AIS AFL leaders and they told me that the jumper won't change, the only fair point that thay'll consider is that they are coming to play European team and that European team should have a priority in picking the home color (which should be blue with gold) and have Aussies wear alternative colors. But the sleeves will stay. I wish I would have an opportunity to redesign that jumper, but not any time soon.

Interesting that you got to ask Kolja. It's also on my to do list - to find exactly why Australia is persisting with something that goes against a fundamental tradition of Aussie Rules. My guess is that the sleeves are used for sponsorship and the AFL would probably love it if AFL clubs had them too.
