Great to see a story about junior development of footy in USA, I flicked over to the website and to have got close to a hundred kids out last year is a terrific effort. The program has been run for a few years now, it would be interesting to know how many of the kids have stuck with it and are now playing for the Eagles or in their Metro competition.

If they are consistantly getting those sorts of numbers maybe a formal junior competition isn't too far off. Creating some "team" loyalty will surely motivate quite a few of the kids to keep on playing, and aim to play with the big boys/girls as they get older.

Maybe we'll some junior Hams, Generals or Bogans start to push for the senior guys places in the teams pretty soon!!!!
