I know I'm not quite on topic, except maybe this is about current Australian players or clubs connecting with overseas/international leagues/clubs as Nic Nat has done. I note that Norwood SANFL club is currently in Croatia training with Croatian league and is to play both men's and women's friendly's (at 9-a-side) in Biograd na Moru against the Knights and Croatian Queens, and that the venture has made the 'mainstream' press back in Adelaide with an article in today's (Saturday 27th Oct) Advertiser newspaper.

Thanks Cam, I saw that on Facebook but have not yet seen the article. Think I will track it down and get it on here. I see that the Croatian leagues and teams have been very proactive in chasing opportunity and that matches with their successes over many years at international levels.
