Just an update on this.

I contacted influential people in the game but they just referred me back to the AFL, I guess they either have confidence in them or are not on board with international.

So I spoke with AFL officials on this topic again and they maintained international rookie spots are not needed, AFLW clubs can rookie list internationals already. My point that they need to be additional spots so the clubs will be emboldened to give international women a go without overlooking a talented Australian prospect, but this obviously is not understood or agreed with, or something.

Other than try again via the new head of AFLW I've pushed this about as far as I can.
