Bio

Originally from a soccer background in NZ, with a big background in coaching and developing of juniors and rep teams. Moved to Australia in 1999, and soon retired from that game to take up this Aussie game.

Joined Western Wolves Womens AFL in 2002, played for NSW since 2002, won SWAFL premierships in 2006, and 2008.
Played in our original Compromise rules match in Sydney in 2003, Gaelic vs AFL, and again played and was assistant coach in 2008, which was the inaugural Irish Australian Cup.
At the end of 2008, we put together a brand new club recruiting Irish ex-pats to bring their gaelic skills along to our game. Am player/coach of the Bondi Shamrocks who have had players picked for NSW, as well as in the rookie team that took on USA Freedom. I was the assistant coach of the SWAFL rookies in that game.
Bondi Shamrocks have now also qualified for the SWAFL playoffs in our first season.
On the SWAFL committee as a junior development officer, and runs holiday clinics for youth girls. Also do some casual coaching for NSW/ACT AFL.
Have one daughter, who has now taken up the game, plays for our club and also played against the yanks.
Am approaching my 150th match, and hope it will be as memoriable as my 50th and 100th. Kicked 5-0 and we won convincingly in my 50th, got BOG votes, and my 100th was my first AFL premiership.
