Grew up in a NSW country town of Ganmain in the Riverina playing for Ganmain Grong Grong Matong as a junior before moving to Canberra playing two seasons for Ainslie Monaro FC then playing two short seasons with Sydney Uni. After I moved to Ireland for 4 years and become the founding player/coach of the Clare Crows in ARFLI competition. Was assistant coach of the Irish National Team in 2004 and also Public Relations Media Officer for the Clare Crows.
