Nominations are now rolling in for the 2006 VFL Barassi International Youth Tournament in Canberra in 2006 and the organisers are putting the word out for any interested groups to register their interest - whether it be an elite squad or just a school team who want to visit Australia, suitable opposition will be found. If you haven't submitted an application then ask yourself why wouldn't you want to be part of the biggest AFL International youth football tournament in history?

Not just elite teams will be catered for - we will arrange for fair and challenging competition for all teams that nominate and note a couple of International teams will be bringing girls competitors looking for equivalent competition.

Team nominations have already started to arrive and as we all know there is a lot of planning to get a team half way around the world - so now is the time to download the application form and submit it to the Barassi Board. The board is very keen to discuss the opportunities to any club around the world wishing to nominate an Under 16 side.
