The following is a press release from the Western Bulldogs

The Western Bulldogs are pleased to announce Integrated as our new Multicultural Partner in the lead up to this weekend’s inaugural AFL Multicultural Round.  The first of its kind in the AFL, this new partnership confirms the Western Bulldogs as the ‘Community Club’ of the league.

Two community focused organisations, the Western Bulldogs and Integrated share a commitment and a passion to provide opportunities for people from a diverse range of backgrounds to be included in our community.  The new association will support the Bulldogs to build on the Club’s ground breaking work with multicultural communities in Melbourne’s West.

“The Western Bulldogs Football Club is passionate about community development and view AFL Football as a tool we can use to help improve the lives of thousands of children and adults throughout the Western Region of Melbourne,” Simon Garlick Western Bulldog’s Chief Executive said today.

“With thousands of newly arrived Australians settling in the West every year, we are looking forward to working with Integrated to expand our community engagement work and boost the opportunities for multicultural communities in the West”.  Integrated is one of Australia’s most experienced and well-respected recruitment organisations, providing innovative, cost-effective and complete employment solutions across all industry sectors.

Integrated Executive General Manager, Nic Fairbank said that the Multicultural Partnership tied in well with Integrated’s own values of being people centred and aiming to support the diverse needs of clients. “We are thrilled to be able work with the Western Bulldogs as their Multicultural Partner,” Mr Fairbank said. “Having seen the progress the Bulldogs have made in developing community engagement programs and having a shared drive to have a positive impact within the communities we operate in – perfectly places us to be active and engaged partners”.

Integrated’s reputation for excellence in supporting people and business to find the best employment fit, will add significant capacity to the Club’s broader community engagement platform.  At the Western Bulldogs we are proud to lead the way when it comes to investing in our community and giving back to those who support us.
