The Western Bulldogs today confirmed exciting rookie defender Jason Johannisen has been elevated to the Club’s primary list, replacing James Mulligan who was placed on the long term injury list a fortnight ago.

Johannisen was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and according to the AFL his father was born in South Africa and his mother in Zambia. He moved from South Africa to Perth when he was eight years old.
